The Finest Polaris 800 Durability kits made...just got better again ! May 2019 - MCB Performance has just finished production of our Polaris 800 Durability Kits for all 800 CFI engines. Since the beginning MCB has led the way and been proud to offer the Polaris owners a properly engineered solution to the OE top-end issues and yet we wont just sit on our collective hands knowing that the best can still be better! As you know we offer three choices when it comes to the 800 CFI top end kits, MCB Pro-Series Durability Kit, MCB Classic Durability kit, and an MCB "Drop-In" kit. All have been engineered and tested in-House with outstanding results and thousands of happy customers. For 2019 we have enhanced and upgraded the following kits: First is our MCB Classic (cast) Durability kit: Our cast piston now features additional barrel oiling holes to help combat hot-spots and reduce potential cold seizures. These are located VERY precisely as an "off the shelf" piston will NOT align properly. Secondly we have added additional material in the pin locating material to help when customers incur the occasional detonation these machines are known for. Lastly we have now included an uncoated measuring point for absolute precision when gauging the critical bore clearance measurements. All of these changes are small but add precision and value to an already industry leading design. Second is our MCB Pro-Series (forged) Durability kit: The Pro-Series kits were an absolute home run from the introduction and they are wildly popular now. Our in-house "mules" have tested our Pro-Series kit to its limits and shows no signs of stopping! For 2019 this piston has received some dramatic updates and testing has been incredible. We have increased skirt rigidity and stabilized the thrust areas by changing internal milling processes. In addition we have lightened non-critical areas to maintain the improved balance our Pro-Series kit in known for. Lastly these now have a proprietary full round coating developed in conjunction with DOW Industrial that provides perhaps the finest combination of lubricity and ceramic wear protection available. These changes add up to unquestionably the strongest, most powerful and durable piston the Polaris 800 owner can buy. Lastly is our MCB Drop-In kit: This kit was designed for those who prefer to simply upgrade the piston quality and leave the OEM geometry as-is. These kits include a Forged, Std weight, fully CNC'd set of of pistons with PROPERLY engineered load shapes. And as all other kits it comes complete with ALL gaskets,seals,injector o-rings and full instructions. A great choice for those looking to save a few dollars and still have premium components.
