All NEW-style heads are SHIM CONVERTED to accept separate shims (shims not included) instead of having to purchase new buckets for each valve adjustment. This includes Custom retainers AND all NEW buckets/tappets. Polaris OEM heads are known to wear seats and valve guides VERY quickly and this leads to quick engine failure, dont compromise your rebuild by not addressing this potential issue and key component of any proper engine rebuild.
