Best primary drive clutch for Can Am Maverick X3-R turbo 1000
23431566
Complete P-Drive primary and secondary driven clutch combo, custom calibrated specifically for your machine — not a generic drop-in set.
This kit is custom calibrated — we need a few details to set it up correctly:
Exact year, make, and model (including trim):
HP level (R = 172hp, RR = 195hp — the R and RR use the same clutch, just different calibration):
Tire size:
Elevation you ride at (0-4500 feet or 4500 and above):
Type of riding (trail, dunes, mud, mountain, etc.):
You will be asked most these questions in drop down questions at checkout. If you have more to tell us, the very last question we ask is your exact year make and model. In that answer you can tell us anything you feel we need to know. Message us this info after purchase (or before, if you'd like to confirm setup first) — every kit is built to your specific machine and riding style, not a one-size-fits-all calibration.

OEM Can Am Secondary vs. MCB Version Secondary — What's the Difference?
Feature OEM Version MCB Version
Helix Factory cast helix Machined billet helix — precise, equal spacing on all three ramps for 100% roller contact and no off-angle binding
Rollers Stock BRP rollers MCB Tuff Wheel Rollers — originally developed for Ski-Doo snowmobiles, validated through dynamic load and impact testing at extreme temperatures. No failures seen to date on X3 or Defender SxS platforms.
Best for Stock HP and stock tire size Modified HP, larger tires, or performance-focused riding
Billet material is harder than cast and far more resistant to debris embedding in the ramps — the cause of grooved rollers over time. If you're running stock HP and stock tire size, the OEM version is a fully valid, cost-effective choice. If you've modified your machine at all, the MCB version is built to handle it.
