Complete secondary driven clutch for Can Am Maverick X3-R, and RR 2017-current. Clutch comes fully assembled / calibrated ready to mount and ride. If have have a tune, larger tires, or other modifications we will custom calibrate it for you here before it leaves with the proper secondary spring and or helix. If have significant mods we can also supply or recommend primary spring and weight changes to go in conjunction with our secondary calibration. Comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

What you will receive:

- 1 OEM BRP or MCB version X3 style secondary (your choice at checkout) fully calibrated with a custom MCB billet helix and spring.

MCB uses machined billet helixes in all our secondary set ups unless you choose to purchase the OEM version and you have stock HP and tire size. Then you will receive an all stock BRP secondary with a factory cast helix. Machined billet helixes are considerably more precise as compared to cast helixes. Machining guarantees exact spacing for equal load and 100% full roller contact on all three ramps. This eliminates any off-angle binding for more precise performance and longevity. The billet material is harder than cast and has higher resistance to allowing debris to embed in the ramps resulting in grooved rollers.

The MCB version secondary also uses our exclusive "Tuff Wheel Rollers". These rollers were originally developed for the Ski Doo line of snowmobiles. Significant dynamic load and impact testing was done at extreme temperatures. This testing resulted in a roller material that has been validated in the field for several years now. To date MCB has yet to see one of our Tuff Wheel Rollers fail on an X3 or Defender SxS!

Customers using tires that are +3" or larger than stock, should install this MCB HD secondary spring into the secondary clutch. This is for higher load situations (large tires do this by nature) and holds the belt better as well as holds initial upshift back slightly longer. This is also ideal for mud or high load type riding (rock crawling).

This option is for adding a fail proof belt removal / install tool. This lightweight compact billet aluminum part simply threads into the female thread of the hollow shaft on all Maverick X3 and HD8/9 and 10 secondary clutches. Then you simple thread the side mounted bolt in and it securly opens up the secondary clutch for easy belt removal and install. Works on all X3 and HD8/9/10 models 2016-current regardless of the style secondary clutch you have on your machine (unless it's aftermarket)

This option allows you to choose between an OEM BRP secondary clutch or an MCB custom secondary with our exclusive "Tuff Wheel Rollers" and all billet helix.

Larger tires apply more load and stress to the clutches, it's effectively like changing the gear ratio. Large tires significantly reduce overall performance if not properly compensated for. MCB custom calibrates all clutches for tire size, elevation, and riding style by installing the proper spring and helix for your specific parameters. When you see +1-2" or +3-4" this means that your current tires are 1-2" or 3-4" taller than stock. So take a X3 for example, they typically come with 30" tires. If you have 32" tires, then that is a +2". Select your tire size
