MCB Polaris Ranger 900 primary drive clutch and secondary driven clutch combination FOR ALL 2013-18 models
Both clutches come fully calibrated ready to mount. Customized if you have oversize tires by choosing the appropriate box / tire size. We can also custom tune your clutch for specific applications. Rock crawling where high speed is not a need. Deep mud only where all you want is lots of low end torque. High speed trail or seasonal road running where you'll be in the mid to higher RPM's most the time. We can custom tune for your needs. Our MCB Pro-series clutch uses and is compatible with all OEM Polaris weights and springs. So if you have a Dalton clutch kit or EPI clutch kit all the primary components are a direct bolt in to our Pro-series Primary clutch. As for the secondary that can also be the case depending on what year and model your specific 900 is, as Polaris has made several secondary changes though out the years of production of the 900's.
This primary clutch is our own design (MCB Pro-series). It is a replica of the OEM Polaris primary except our clutch uses superior bushing material. Our faceplate is an all billet design. Our main post is 38mm instead of stock 28mm diameter. This allows our faceplate bushing to have 64% more surface area. This significantly stabilizes the moveable sheave / assembly in staying parallel to the fix sheave. This results in less "clutch binding", reduces heat and results in an overall more durable and smoother shifting clutch. Our open style faceplate has more effective cooling. The billet design is stronger and doesn't deflect. This prolongs the spider puck life by not distorting the moveable sheave towers that the spider pucks push off of. Our spider pucks are 100% PHENOLIC. We use only the highest quality alloy materials for the sheaves and nitride coated tool steel on the main shaft and crankshaft mounting countersink area. The clutch is precision balanced.
The secondary clutch is a match calibrated full assembly with helix and spring already installed. Helix angle and spring depend on 2 vs 4 seater, tire size, elevation and riding style. (see options at checkout). This team tied design is identical to the snowmobile TEAM TIED design that we use with snowmobiles that have 320HP! This is a TRUE TIED roller clutch! Unlike the Polaris TEAM BOSS design that relies on the transmission shaft to assembly the sheaves one, this clutch has it's own common shaft that it is assembled on. This results in a TRUE TIED design with zero play / bind between the sheaves. It uses rollers instead of square slider blocks like your factory clutch (2016-23) that immediately turn into trapezoids and bind! You should never need another secondary clutch!
