Description
Engineering Beyond Stock Limits: The MCB Pro-Series Primary Clutch Upgrade
The factory Polaris clutch is a well-engineered piece of equipment built perfectly for standard machines under normal riding conditions. However, once you introduce high-demand modifications—such as larger tires, increased horsepower tuning, heavy mud setups, or aggressive dune riding—the extreme forces applied to the drivetrain can push standard factory components past their intended operational parameters.
If you have upgraded your RZR 1000 beyond stock performance, you need a clutching system built to match that extra load. The MCB Performance Pro-Series Heavy Duty Primary Clutch is completely re-engineered to handle heavy-duty, high-stress modifications from the ground up.
The MCB Pro-Series Engineering Advantages:
- 44% Larger Main Post Surface Area: Standard clutches utilize a 28mm main post layout. The MCB Pro-Series expands this to a massive 38mm diameter post, increasing the faceplate bushing surface area by 44%. This added structural rigidity keeps your moving sheave perfectly parallel under heavy load, reducing the risk of binding, uneven wear, and excessive belt heat during high-RPM bursts.
- Splined Spider & Heavy-Duty Threaded Collar: While standard designs rely on a threaded spider assembly, high-horsepower applications and heavy engine braking can put immense counter-rotational stress on those threads. We engineered a robust splined spider that physically cannot spin or strip, locked securely into place by a massive 1-1/4" threaded collar with extended thread and Loctite engagement.
- 250% More Surface Area on Rectangular Pucks: Standard 16.9mm round pucks are designed for standard workloads. The MCB Pro-Series upgrades to heavy-duty rectangular spider pucks (25.5mm x 20mm), dispersing your engine's horsepower over two and a half times more surface area to dramatically extend component longevity.
- Hardened Stainless Steel Wear Plates: To protect the structural integrity of the clutch assembly over long-term use, our redesigned rectangular pucks slide effortlessly against premium hardened stainless steel reaction plates. This ensures your aluminum casting remains pristine and completely rebuildable seasons down the road.
Custom Calibrated. Drop-In Ready. Guaranteed.
- Tailored Baseline Calibration (Included): Don't settle for a "one-size-fits-all" box. Provide your machine's model year, typical elevation, riding style, and machine weight at checkout, and our Michigan technicians will pre-install the exact baseline springs and weights your setup requires. (Note: Tiered component charges apply below for oversized 30"+ tires or heavy sand/mud builds).
- 1-Year Warranty Included: We stand firmly behind our engineering with a Free 1-Year Limited Warranty included at no additional cost.
- True OEM Compatibility: Designed to drop right into your machine with zero installation headaches. This primary drive clutch functions perfectly with your original stock belt layout, stock spacing parameters, and standard factory clutch puller tools.

Comments:
So far, clutch seems to be working fine. Cruised in Low gear for about 21 miles, then opened it up. Has a slight squeak when in idle. Hoping it would go away over time.
