This is a complete secondary driven clutch assembly. Direct replacement of your OEM secondary clutch and eliminates the often failed "slider blocks" . This is a TEAM TIED roller clutch assembly that is custom calibrated by us here at MCB for 2021-current Ranger 1000 with SOHC (all options). We custom calibrate each clutch that ships based on - Tire Size - Elevation - Riding Style (see drop down questions when ordering)

Description

This is a considerably better design than stock for both performance and durability. You stock 2021-current SOHC Ranger 1000 secondary uses a single set of rollers in a twin track small diameter helix. This makes the moveable sheave unstable based on the overall design and narrow stance of the single set rollers. This effectively creates "binding" resulting in poor upshift and backshift as well as excessive heat. This new clutch is a true tied roller clutch with 4 rollers at both sides of the clutch creating maximum stability, no binding and significantly less heat. The rollers roll instead of slide and therefore wear is significantly reduced.

This secondary is calibrated to be used with your stock primary drive clutch, or our MCB Pro-series clutches, if you have modifications done to your existing primary, but your secondary is stock and the unit performs well then this calibration will perform the same as what you currently have. This uses the same belt you have been using, no other modifications needed. Just bolt on and ride!

If you have oversize tires please tell us in the drop down menu that you will be automatically prompted to at checkout. We need to know how much larger your tires are over stock size. Example: Most Ranger / RZR 1000's came with 28-29" tires. So if you have 32" choose the +3" tire. Improper calibration for oversize tires can prematurely wear both clutches, as it puts a lot of load on them with the added tire diameter (inertia) and weight. If you have not re-calibrated your primary clutch for tire size you should do so as the primary clutch calibration is far more significant than the secondary.

We do sell brand new Primary clutches if needed. We have our own MCB version with the billet faceplate and larger bushing. Our clutches use all premium bushing and roller materials.
