Description
When purchasing an MCB Pro-series clutch for any 2016 and up RZR Turbo and or XP Pro turbo please be aware that these clutches rattle at idle by design. These clutches are built and designed with a sliding and self-adjusting spider to moveable sheave wedge. The angled style spider puck / wedge will keep moving into position as it wears thinner. This results in a maintenance free spider puck design. However, the issue with this design is that at idle the self-adjusting wedges do not have enough mass to position themselves and this results In what sounds like an engine knock. You’ll notice that the very second you increase the rpm’s the noise goes away and the dampener is in position. This is very common and has no detrimental adverse effects on the longevity of the clutch. This same rattle at idle happens even when installing the Power Pucks. Again this is totally normal and has no adverse effects on the clutch.
MCB Polaris RZR 925 primary drive clutch FOR ALL 2016-21 TURBO models. - Uses the same belt as your original clutch - Uses the same puller as your original clutch - MCB propriety roller and bushing material - MCB billet faceplate eliminates tower deflection, reduces binding, and heat. Larger oil impregnated faceplate bushing keeps entire moveable assembly parallel to the fixed sheave for smoother and cooler functionality. - Two way bearing, all engine braking is done in the secondary clutch Comes fully calibrated ready to mount. Customized if you have oversize tires by choosing the appropriate box / tire size. We can also custom tune your clutch for specific applications. Rock crawling where high speed is not a need. Deep mud only where all you want is lots of low end torque. High speed trail of seasonal road running where you'll be in the mid to higher RPM's most the time. We can custom tune for your needs. Additional weights and spring rates are available for those need wide variation in adjustability. This clutch is our own design. It is a replica of the OEM Polaris primary except our clutch uses superior bushing materials, special phenolic spider guides that can sustain significant more heat than OEM and provide the proper harness for maximum longevity. The faceplate bushing is a self lubricating brass oil impregnated material. We use only the highest quality alloy materials for the sheaves and nitride coated tool steel on the main shaft and crankshaft mounting countersink area. The clutch is precision balanced. Our secondary uses a Billet helix, not cast. We also use a "bowed" secondary spring that does not coil stack like the OEM and almost all others on the market. Custom angle helix's are used based on the questions you are asked about tire size, elevation, riding style etc. We calibrate each clutch that leaves here for 2-seater vs 4-seater, Tire size, elevation, and riding preferences, etc. (see prompts at checkout) Uses the same puller as your original clutch
