MCB Stage-1 Piston kit. Ski-Doo 600EFI 2021-2024
MCB Performance is proud to release its NEW for 2022 Top End kit for the Ski-Doo 600 EFI (throttle body) engines. This new (600 EFI) Engine is BRP's new design that replaces the venerable 600 Non-Ho. There ae no Longer any power valves and the engine is now Throttle body injected. Power is significantly down however "rideability" seems to be on par with the later machines.
Our custom 600-EFI piston was designed with ultimate durability in mind and no compromises in power. Our proprietary FORGED piston incorporates a low-drag skirt profile in conjunction with Dura-Coat piston skirt coating. MCB has also added a second ring to further enhance durability and MORE importantly transfer critical dome heat to the cooling system. These new 600 EFI Engines run much warmer than the Carbureted 600/500SS engines of the past and need all the help they can get with regards to cylinders temps!
Because the 600 class Engines rely on smaller bore sizes and lighter rotating components, weight becomes a concern with regards to dynamic balance. Keeping this priority, MCB has carefully engineered final machining to produce a piston and Dual-Ring combination that weighs 317.2 grams, factory weight is 318.9 grams. Direct interchangeability!
Lastly MCB has chosen to Type III Hard-Coat anodize the domes of these custom pistons to allow a margin of error with poor fuel quality and availability as we recognize many of these will be used for long distance/remote operations.
All MCB Stage-1 kits include Pistons, Ring sets, Pins, Circlips, Pin BEARINGS, Top-end gasket set and helpful tips / guidelines sheets.
